Our CO Founders
Lionel Paillet – Lionel has a unique and unparalleled track record as an entrepreneur, executive and investor. Over the last decade, he has forged several of the most important new social and commerce platforms. Alan began his career in the industry as a senior executive at PayPal (NASDAQ: PYPL) and subsequently served as chief operating officer of Square (NYSE: SQ). He co-founded and currently serves as CEO of Maple .
Earlier in his career, Lionel was a litigator at the preeminent Wall Street law firm Sullivan and Cromwell, after clerking for the United States Court of Appeals for the fifth circuit.
David Bright – David working closely with the investment team and leading all non-investment activities, which include running internal operations and overseeing the firm’s legal, finance and branding teams. David works with the partnership on key strategic decisions and investments and also leads fundraising and management of the companies limited partner relationships.
Prior to maple, David spent four years at Clarium Capital Management LLC, a global macro hedge fund. He began her financial career at Citigroup Investment Bank, where he was an analyst in the technology group. David graduated with honors in Economics from Stanford University.
